Posts and other user generated content you provide are collected voluntarily and may be publicly disclosed on the Internet.

The Regulations.gov Exchange requires you to create a user name and enter an e-mail address, first name, last name, and state.  It also requires you to select which category best describes you. You may also enter your organization. Only your user name and the category that best describes you will be shared with others. We will not display your e-mail address, name, state or organization on the site or share it with anyone else.

Confidential material submitted through the Contact Us feature and may be used by authorized third parties.

The Exchange.Regulations.gov Web site does not automatically collect personal information about you. For Web site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, this government computer system employs applications that monitor access to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. Therefore, this Web site does collect summary information used for system administration and site security, including the domain name and Internet Protocol addresses from which you are visiting; the type of browser and operating system being used to access the site; the pages you are visiting; the time you spend at each page; and the time and date of your visit. This Web site uses this information to create summary statistics, which are, in turn, used to assess what information is of most and least interest, to determine technical design specifications, and to identify system performance or problem areas.

The Exchange.Regulations.gov does not use persistent tracking technology (also referred to as "persistent cookies") to place software files or other information on your computer.
