Original Question: What Clean Water Act or NPDES information does your facility currently report to the state or EPA, and how do they/you report it? Is there easy public access to that information?

There is always the question of capability to handle certain information. Screening is also helpful especially if the information is too sensitive or troubling.

My firm doesn't outsource water facility, we have an office that makes the reports. About the public access to the information, is not so easy. You have to compile a form and wait some weeks before having a reply.

I can second that, all of that sort of thing is handled by the facility, I have never seen any of this go public.

Monthly NPDES Discharge Monitoring Report data to state NYSDEC by hardcopy report form mailed to agency. Data is availabe to public through EPA ECHO/PCS after NYSDEC enters it into EPA database.

Currently the organization that deals with our water facility handles everything, but reports and information being public, I have never heard of this before.
